Outreach

Advocates provide support groups and individual peer counseling to survivors giving them an opportunity to speak confidentially or share their feelings with other individuals in similar situations. An Advocate can meet with survivors to provide a safe space to learn about resources, create safety plans or escape plans, and get information and referrals to meet needs that support efforts for safety and well-being.

Advocates can also attend court with survivors or assist them in securing other legal rights and remedies.

Survivors may contact the crisis line (386) 255-2102 to schedule an individual appointment.

A confidential intake must be completed before attending the support/education groups or individual outreach sessions.
